- Be well read with some emphasis in classical literature.
- Have the academic foundation to pursue a higher education beyond high school.
- Be able to relate well in a non-academic setting.
- Be able to be an individual while still cooperating in a group.
- Be able to approach life with joy, creativity and curiosity.
