From the Assistant Head of School

It is my pleasure and privilege to serve as Trinity Christian School’s Assistant Head of School for the 2018-2019 school year.  This is the forty-fifth year of our school shining its light in our community.  I am blessed to have been a part of Trinity’s legacy for 10 of those years.  I taught 4th and 5th grade before becoming Dean of Faculty, a position I continue to fulfill along with serving beside our respected and dedicated Head of School, Cindy Wilkerson.

Education is very dear to my heart.  TCS’s educational program is exceptional.  We develop students who love learning, think deeply, and communicate effectively.  Our teachers are among the best.  Summaries of our school’s curriculum guides are posted to our website.  We strive to balance our curriculum, aligning and exceeding North Carolina state standards yet incorporating elements of classical instruction.  We are accredited by the distinguished Association of Christian Schools (ASCI).  Biblical integration encompasses all that we do  All of our curriculum is seen through a Christian worldview.  We integrate Biblical truths in every curriculum area.  Our students learn about the life of Jesus Christ and the Word of God. God’s word is truly a “lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path”.  The Biblical foundations nurtured here from preschool through 10th grade form the cornerstone for a lifetime of Christian service.

As a school with more than four decades of educational experience our families trust that the education their children is receiving is outstanding.  Our parents work hand-in-hand with us, realizing that the total education of their children is one of the most serious responsibilities of a Christian parent.

Please stop in, call or email me any time, for any reason.  I covet your prayers.  I know that God’s hand is upon all of us at TCS.  With our faith and experience, your administration, faculty and staff will continue to prepare tomorrow’s leaders for life – spiritually, academically, and socially.
